In 2016 our founder, Julain Molnar, realized there was a crucial piece missing in Prince Edward Island’s food scene. Having been a plant-based eater for most of her life, she was unhappy with the vegan cheese products available on the market and believed there was a way to bring a more healthy, wholesome and delicious dairy cheese alternative to the Island. She began experimenting in her kitchen with different cashew cheese recipes and after a period of trial and error she developed the fabulous flavours of Fresh Start Fauxmage.

Since then, Julain has perfected her recipes and Fresh Start Fauxmage is now available in over 40 locations all over Atlantic Canada. Look for her products expanding westward in the near future.
