The Wing

RCAFA 200 (Summerside) Wing is one of 65 Wings across Canada that is part of the Royal Canadian Air Force Association, which has a long history and is headquartered in Ottawa.

Nationally, the Association is a strong advocate for a professional and well-equipped Air Force for Canada, and is an active advocate for veterans’ rights through membership in the National Council of Veteran’s Associations. The Association also partners with the Royal Canadian Legion and, while it was in operation, the members of the Air Force Association of Canada supported the RCAF Benevolent Fund.

200 Wing also has a long history and was Registered and Incorporated with the Provincial Government in 1950. The Aim of RCAFA 200 (Summerside) Wing is to provide a democratic, non-sectarian, politically unaffiliated club for the convenience, entertainment and recreation of all of its members. Through out the year 200 Wing holds dances, special events and sports activities for its members.

200 Wing is the sole sponsor of 53 C.E. Monty DFC Squadron, Royal Canadian Air Cadets and supports our local community through donations, scholarships and participation in local civic and community programs.
