McLellan, Brennan is a leading litigation and personal injury Law Firm located in beautiful Summerside, Prince Edward Island. Our law firm was founded by the Honourable Alexander B. Campbell in 1959. Alex went on to become Premier of Prince Edward Island and subsequently a Supreme Court Justice.

Other notable PEI barristers & solicitors associated with the firm over the years includes the Honourable J. Armand DesRoches who served as a Deputy Judge, Advocate General, and who became Chief Justice of the Trial Division of the Supreme Court of Prince Edward Island, the late J. Melville Campbell, Q.C. who was a Mayor of Summerside, the Honourable Benjamin B. Taylor, Q.C. went on to also become a Supreme Court Justice, and Walter A. McEwen, Q.C. who was a former Health Minister and Attorney General.

Bloyce was born in Grand River, Prince Edward Island, to the late Peter Alphonsus McLellan and Elizabeth Matilda MacDonald. Bloyce was the youngest of the thirteen children brought up on the McLellan family farm. He attended Arlington School and Miscouche Regional High School. He then received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Prince Edward Island in 1973 and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New Brunswick Ludlow Hall in 1976. He now resides in North Tryon, PEI.

John A. Brennan,

John was born in O’Leary, Prince Edward Island to Lester and Shirley Brennan. He graduated from Acadia University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours in History). In 2000, he graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School with his Bachelor of Laws. John is a Barrister and Solicitor, Notary Public, and a Partner at McLellan, Brennan Law Firm. John is married to Karen Brennan, and together they reside in Grand River, Prince Edward Island with their two children. He is an active fly-fisher.
